Description

Sinuous ceramic sculpture, abstracted from the endlessly interpretible mathematical infinity symbol. Elements have been formed and carved to flow through each other, and large open spaces allow hands and light to move through the shape. The piece is best displayed where it can be seen from all directions. Clay is smooth-textured, white stoneware, fired to maturity with a matte off-white glazed surface. Part of my ongoing Fenestrations Series.
