Description
Paper with different fonts and colorful magazines are hand cut into stripes, sandwiched between textiles, and quilted together row by row. The three-layered quilt is stretched over a wooden panel, framed in a floating frame, and ready to hang. The Interplay between thread, paper, patterns, and fonts gives the artwork a painterly quality. The transformed material becomes something new and unexpected. The small imaginary landscapes are windows of escape, a place where your mind can soar free.
