Dissected and reassembled / familiar yet fractured. Long bred for their colourful mutations, canaries carry in their bodies the legacy of choices made and traits lost. Through subtle outlines and spectral absences, these images hint at what has been cut away: genes uncarried, colours unloved, songs unsung. This series draws from colour theory and selective breeding to explore how transformation is never neutral, and how absence can have presence.
