Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor and online art fair

TOAF will take place July 12 – 14, 2024.

This is what we all needed, thank you for the gift

The grand gathering of hundreds of artists and thousands of visitors at Nathan Phillips Square is what we all needed! That’s what we keep hearing from you… #TOAF61 was truly a gift to all of us.

We were all apprehensive and a bit rusty getting back into the groove of things after two years, but this comeback has indeed been bigger and better than ever. Absolutely one of the best shows in recent years!

The level of artist enthusiasm, audience engagement, sales, attendance, media coverage, inspiring artist success stories, and above all, the magical, warm vibes have filled us with a deep sense of fulfillment and joy. Even the weather was on our side all four days (including setup day) which rarely happens.

Large events like TOAF come to life with the collaboration and participation of thousands of dedicated individuals. We really wish we could name everyone here. Our sincere thanks to public funders, foundations, award donorssponsorsjudgesjurors, speakers, our amazing volunteers, programming, media, and community partners, our Board of Directors and the TOAF team

To the 400+ participating artists online and in person: Thank you for livening up our cities, homes, and spirits with your magic and inspiration. We are honoured to play a part in bringing your works to the public.

To our visitors and patrons: You are investing in the creative economy of our city. It is because of you that making a living off art is possible for our artists. We loved seeing you showing off your purchases in the Beer Garden and leaving the Square with art. Keep it up! There are still works remaining on TOAF.ca

We will be sharing the impact, stories, and key numbers with you soon. For now, we leave you with some highlights of TOAF61.

Have a lovely rest of the Summer,
anahita and TOAF Team
