2025 Call for Artists is Open!

Deadline: March 7th, 2025

Connecting you to Artists from Coast to Coast

This past summer, 17 artists from Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and Québec, in addition to the Northwest Territories artists, joined us at the Fair. They brought us a taste of different communities and made us feel connected and closer to all parts of Canada.

Here is the spotlight on the 2024 recipients of the Travel Bursary program. Take a moment to learn more about these incredible artists and their works.

Now in its second year, the Travel Bursary program has become a cherished part of TOAF. We’re committed to its future and excited to see it grow further. We love meeting artists from every corner of the country face-to-face and contributing to a dynamic artistic exchange. If you feel the same, please consider donating to the program

See you tonight at our Holiday Open House!

Hear from Artists

“TOAF has become one of the most important dates on the calendar for my art career. Where else am I going to be able to get my work in front of 170,000 people in a single weekend? The travel bursary helps to offset the significant costs in coming from out of the province to participate in what I consider to be an unmissable event.”

Call for Proposals: Art Nest— Public Art

TOAF is seeking exciting, innovative proposals for installation, sculpture, new media, and performance art pieces for the 2025 Fair. This is a unique opportunity for artists to create works that engage with the dynamic, open-air environment of Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto’s civic heart. As part of the Art Nest program, TOAF offers selected artists the resources, mentorship, and visibility needed to bring their concepts to life.
