Victoria Dvornikova
I'm Victoria Dvornikova, an illustrator and recent Claude Watson Visual Arts program graduate. I incorporate whimsical, Alice in Wonderland-esque world building into my pieces, to contrast with the gritty, darker linework and colour palettes. Although all work is created digitally, it includes many organic textures for a nostalgic, children's book feel. My work explores themes surrounding dreams and mental illness, captured in a style that reflects a wonder and scale as if seen through the eyes of a child. Through my artwork, I aspire to transport you to a forgotten world, where the fantastical and otherworldly become tangible—a world reminiscent of the cherished landscapes of your childhood imagination.
