Tusharika Arora
Tusharika Arora is a Toronto-based embroidery artist whose work focuses on capturing personal memories and everyday moments through hand-stitched designs. Her practice explores how small, often overlooked details—a place, a date, a person—can be preserved through embroidery and made into lasting keepsakes.
She began embroidering during the COVID-19 lockdown after discovering her mother’s old supplies. What started as a spontaneous creative outlet quickly evolved into a consistent practice. With her dog by her side during those early days, embroidery became a way of documenting time and marking moments she wanted to hold on to.
