As an urban basketmaker, I investigate materials that I can alter and deconstruct to weave into sculptural vessels. My recent work seeks to incorporate recycle bin waste with plant materials. I’m looking for the potential of paper and plastic waste, to draw attention to their beauty and value, and question the unprecedented level of non-recyclable waste humans are thoughtlessly generating.
