I am Sonia Kang, the founder and creative force behind COVEN. My work bridges tradition and innovation, infusing handmade jewellery with the magic of storytelling, cultural heritage, and personal expression. Each piece explores the interplay between raw, elemental material — hypoallergenic metals, Jade, and gemstones — and the human stories they carry.
COVEN draws inspiration from a deep reverence for ancestral craftsmanship partnered with a modernized aesthetic. Through partnerships with multi-generational family-owned businesses in Hong Kong, China and Myanmar, I source and design Jade imbued with history and spirit, creating modern heirlooms that connect wearers to their own narratives.
