Phillipa Croft
For over 30 years, Phillipa has been keeping photographic records to document her life’s travels and journey.
Working with analogue processes has kept her intrigued in the image-making experience. She seeks surprise, mystery, and routine.
Over the years, Phillipa has maintained a personal interest in shooting with film, hand processing the negatives and working in a darkroom to make prints.
Currently shooting mostly (but not exclusively) with black and white film.
Inspired by the work of artists such as Weegee, Diane Arbus and Alfred Steiglitz, Phillipa is driven by the courageous moment between photographer and subject.
For TOAF63, Phillipa has curated a series of images titled 'Everyday Pageant'
