Petr Maur

Petr is a multi disciplinary artist, upcycling a diverse array of materials into thought provoking, kinetic art. His assemblage sculptures are created from discarded, obsolete components, giving them a distinctly SteamPunk / DieselPunk aesthetic.

This work seeks to invoke deep-sea mechanical creatures, paralleling the polluted state of our world’s oceans and the increasing mechanization and automation of humanity.
