Peter Schacht
Peter is a Visual Storytelling Artist who attended Sheridan College, majoring in Interpretive Illustration. His vivid observation and fascination with people and the dynamic relationships found between neighbouring houses has led him to multiple personal and reflective series on how our boundaries are often tested with the depiction of wildly stylized, over-grown flowers. These stories integrate multiple layers of graphite, molding paste, acrylic & oil paint over hand-carved plywood or most recently on the amazing insect engraved slabs of Ash that he has reclaimed, conditioned and enhanced.
