Patrice Baker
Patrice Baker is a mixed media jeweller and assemblage maker, building her creations with a variety of hand made layered pieces. She uses her own hand etched and formed items made of gold, silver, bronze, and copper. Her reversible pendants are highly sought after as wearable sculptures. Each piece tells a story with its unique layers and invites the wearer to take a closer look. Patrice is a jewellery instructor for the 3rd year gold-smithing program at Georgian College. She is a repeat invited instructor to three American conferences. In 2018, she received the Elora Arts Council Award in the prestigious Insights Art Show. In 2019, she received Best In Show at Owen Sound: Summerfolk. A recent piece has been selected for the AMCAW Metal Clay Annual Calendar for 2021.
