Sasha Q
I'm an artist from Kyiv, Ukraine working under the nickname Sasha Q. Was forced to leave home after russian invasion in February of 2022 and start my life from scratch. Currently, I live and work in Toronto as a muralist and a fine art painter.
I've transformed my life experiences into dreamcore painting series called "Other Worlds" where I'm exploring the subject of escapism, solitude, and the boundaries of the transcendental - knowledge that goes beyond sensory experience, beyond the bounds of space and time. "Other Worlds" became my new home and a place of comfort.
Deep immersive colors introduce the observer into a state of trance and soul-healing meditation. By exploring ‘Other Worlds’, you can reach a mystical place and enjoy a journey in solitude to embrace your inner self.
Aesthetics are often inspired by retro sci-fi art classics, magical realism, minimalism and OP art.
