MP Guillot
MP Guillot is a multidisciplinary artist from Québec based in Toronto. Ceramics has become her playground for creative intuition, where her process exists at the intersection of knowing and letting go, listening for what wants to be created.
Working with soft clay slabs bent and fused together with a sewing inspired approach, she assists the material in defying gravity, transforming it into fluid forms that seem to belong elsewhere. Living with colour synesthesia, MP uses colour as a language of its own. Her works emerge like messages expressed through colour, translating experiences that exist beyond words.
