Mina Tafazoli

Mina Tafazoli is a jewelry maker and product designer. Her story starts in Tehran, where she obtained BA and MA in Industrial Design. Then, she moved to the UK and obtained a MA in International Design & Communication Management at University of Warwick.
Daughter of an architect, since young she has been exposed to different cultural & artistic movements that sparked her interest in design. “The idea of the present collection, dates back to my childhood, when I was first encountered to mirror work in historical monuments of Iran, longing to be able to take them home with me.”
Mina has worked as a university teaching fellow during the past 9 years as well as working in various companies as a designer. Meanwhile, she started bringing her ideas to life through sculpture which resulted in participating in a few group exhibitions. In 2020 she moved to Canada and started her jewelry brand; Mim Té.
