Mina Tafazoli
Mina Tafazoli is a jewelry maker and product designer. Her story starts in Tehran, where she obtained BA and MA in Industrial Design. Then, she moved to the UK and obtained a MA in International Design and Communication Management at University of Warwick.
Daughter of an architect, since young she has been exposed to different cultural and artistic movements that sparked her interest in design. “The idea of the present collection, dates back to my childhood, when I was first encountered to mirror work in historical monuments of Iran, longing to be able to take them home with me.”
Mina has worked as a university teaching fellow during the past 9 years as well as working in various companies as a designer. Meanwhile, she started bringing her ideas to life through sculpture which resulted in participating in a few group exhibitions. In 2020 she moved to Canada and started her jewelry brand; Mim Té.
