Maisie Cu

Maisie Cu is a Hanoi-born, Toronto-based Painter. Her paintings deal with the pursuit of wonder, manifesting in the poetic of spaces, relationships, and an overall encapsulated mood of existence. She is interested in the Canadian Landscape, Ossington Street, and the history of Chinatown. An investigation of her paintings goes back into the account of Toronto and her own lived experience with the complexity of a mood when one migrates from one space to another.
