LUKOMBO Joël, born in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He studied art at the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2020, he has launched into professional life. Today, he lives and works in Montreal. In his journey of learning the profession, he will have to work with many artists in order to further perfect his abilities and acquire a lot of experience and knowledge. He participated in several group exhibitions all over the world.

His work is summed up in a theme of supporting and motivating his
contemporaries not to give up but to maintain hope in everything they undertake despite the difficulties, problems and vital concerns of everyday life. Smiling is therapeutic for the survival of humanity. His artistic representations are based on women, who for the artist are a bringer of hope and the future. His work is of permanent dynamism as the artist gives challenges to his society.

It has a theme full of resources and inspiration to witness its times and to
encourage all those who lose hope that sooner or later the vital daily difficulties, life will smile on you in one way or another; you just have to keep hope, be enduring, continue to persevere and have self-esteem by giving yourself a decent job. To illustrate this approach, he uses a mixed technique by painting with pen and oil or acrylic paint on canvas.
