The creative research of Jérôme Guilleaume is rooted in an exploration of generative processes, both visual and sonic.
By integrating his own code into his preferred software environments (Ableton, Max MSP, IanniX) to connect body, sound, mathematics, 3D visualization, and programming, he creates unique digital works that exist in motion, as installations and performances, as well as in sensitive, refined natural forms through limited-edition prints or one-of-a-kind pen-plotter drawings.
More specifically, his visual practice is grounded in drawn representations of mathematical equations within three-dimensional space, treated as an explorable material, through computer-assisted equation generation, then printed on paper and metal; robotic drawing; virtual, augmented, or exploratory realities; as well as static and moving projections.
His body of work reflects years of exploration and shifting perspectives over nearly a decade, marked by trials and errors, ultimately seeking to crystallize the beauty and fragility of generated forms, an attempt to share the ephemeral
