Hope Milner
The planet today is full of discarded, neglected and unwanted items… many destined for the landfill or scrapyard.
Hope Milner is a Calgary artist who LOVES junk. She can be found scouring flea markets, old garages, recycling centers and estate sales looking for these unwanted or discarded items. She sees beauty in items that are past their prime, usefulness or life cycle.
For the past four years, Hope has turned these finds into unique pieces of art. Her whimsical and funky characters are designed to make you smile and bring back memories. Each piece she designs and creates give new life and joy to what we see as disposable in today’s world.
