Helen Song
Helen is an emerging artist who specializes in ceramic vessels and forms. She manipulates porcelain bodies through the synchronized movement of hand and clay.
Helen gravitates towards topics surrounding the human condition and employs her interests in philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience in her art practice.
In excavation of our unconscious and conscious thoughts and processes, she experiments with the expression of (e)motion through elements inspired by the natural + supernatural world. Her technique is influenced by Impressionist mark-making.
