Ethel Voronkova is an Ontario-based stylized abstract artist. Born in the Philippines, she moved to Canada with her family at the age of nine. She studied Fine Art at Centennial College and Graphic Design at Humber College and in 2017 she pursued Art full-time. Ethel has since participated in Group and Solo shows, with presentations at Orillia Museum of Art and History, a solo show at the Hamilton City Hall, The Art Gallery of Hamilton Art Services, The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair and the Annual One-Of-A-Kind Show in Toronto. Ethel’s paintings are in private collections all over Canada and the U.S and rented by corporate businesses all over Ontario.

In her work, She explores contemplation, memory, and personal experiences. Using acrylics on raw canvas, she embraces the unpredictable painting process to create her "Dreamscape" pieces. Earthy colours inspired by landscapes convey grounding and changing emotions. Each artwork reflects introspection and the passage of time, capturing personal moments. Through abstraction of nature, She aims to transcend literal representation and engage viewers on an emotional level. Ethel’s goal is to evoke familiarity and resonance, inviting personal reflection and connection to the human experience.

Feel free to contact her if you have any questions or inquiries or want to commission her.
