Erika Takacs
I am a largely self-taught sculptor based in Oshawa. My material of choice is paper pulp, an incredibly versatile tool that leads to constant experimentation, without any chance of reaching its limits. My art revolves around the human form. Immersed in the creative process, I don't just bring to life characters, I learn about the finer facets of myself as well.
I am honoured and humbled to have received the Jini Stolk Best of Online Art Fair Award at the 2023 Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
