Erica Gibbs
Erica Gibbs (b. 2002) is an interdisciplinary artist and illustrator based in the Greater Toronto Area. In her practice she transverses the digital and physical realms to produce paintings, illustrations, comics, sculptures, and installations.
She is currently attending OCAD University in Toronto, where she will graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Majoring in Drawing and Painting and Minoring in Illustration in the spring of 2025. She worked as a studio and shop assistant for Toronto-based painter Shanna Van Maurik in the spring of 2023.
Gibbs’ work has been featured in group exhibitions across Toronto at Northern Contemporary Gallery, Youthful Vengeance, and OCAD University where she received the Wendy & Elliott Eisen scholarship in 2020 and Catherine Daigle scholarship in 2023.
Erica will be featured in GradEx 110 at OCAD University in May 2025.
