Denys Golden

Denys Golden is a Ukrainian-born, Toronto-based visual artist.

Fascinated by the world as a child, he had acquired a passion for the beautiful and the creative by his youth and began painting and drawing. Following his passions he completed a degree in Fine Art and went on to study Graphic Design and Architecture.

His artworks exhibit a fascinating exploration of geometric abstraction, consistently invoking a sense of movement and vibrancy through bold shapes and striking color palettes. Each piece is characterized by an invigorating use of angular forms, which draw the viewer’s eye across the compositions. The use of bright, saturated colors in combination with more subdued tones like grays and blacks creates a harmonious balance that is visually arresting.
