Deborah Jenkins
After spending a decade working in information technology, I moved into art and artisanal based projects. I have spent time with textiles, sculpture, installation, video and now, painting. Thematically, my interests lie in exploration of who and what is held dear or tossed aside.
These paintings arise from family photos as well as photos I’ve acquired over time. While they all capture a moment, they do so without any thought of selling or branding and I’m drawn to the unselfconscious presentation.
