Dania Dhia Al Obaidi
Dania Al-Obaidi’s work is heavily influenced by the richness and beauty of old and new world flare. She finished her BA in Fine Arts and continues further training alongside extensive exhibitions in Canada and internationally. Her most favourable passion is encaustic painting. She uses intense combinations of materials and colours in her work. Dania enjoys using properties of mixed media within encaustic on wood and different mediums as it conveys her true self, heavily influenced by the textures and layers of wax. When starting with this medium, it spoke to her; driving the advancement of her ability. Alongside painting, she has been teaching art for over 10 years. She aspires to make an emotional and inspirational connection with her work.
