Corinne Lawless is a mother of two young daughters and a full time ceramic artist based in Pickering who rediscovered her artistic self after a decade of living overseas in Asia.
In 2018, Lawless took a wheel-thrown pottery workshop while living in Singapore and felt such an immediate connection to clay that she decided to pursue it as much as she could. She established a home studio after relocating back to Toronto and by 2021, she had completed two online courses: I. Understanding Glazes and II. Advancing Glazes with Ceramic Materials Workshop. The glaze-specific chemistry knowledge that she acquired in those courses allows her to take complete control of the aesthetic of her work.
In Corinne's newest collection, she pairs her Original Matte Navy glaze with a tin oxide Glossy Pink.
