Booth 197

Bhavya is a performer of a 2500-year-old art form from India known as Madhubani.
Creator of a secret symbolic language, and energy fields painter.
An Indian artist currently based in Montreal, Canada.

Madhubani art expresses relationships with nature—2d images filled with flowers, animals, birds, and geometric patterns.
Compositions can also be about depicting everyday scenes, and deities from epics.

She uses acrylic on canvas as a medium. Traditionally done through brushes, twigs, and fingers, she innovated the process by utilizing 3D-printed shapes for layouts and frameworks.

She paints to celebrate the essence of her grandfather’s spirit.
To express their love for nature and experiences exploring their home country.
