Apoorva Mittal
Through my art, I share how I see the world. Whether it’s a concert in the park, a nearby greenhouse, or exploring a new city, I transform everyday moments into art. My work is inspired by nature, travel, and daily life—celebrating the beauty in the ordinary. Bold marks and intricate details define my style, inviting viewers to connect with a sense of familiarity while discovering subtle nuances upon closer inspection.
Each piece begins with a personal moment—often captured through on-location sketches, then refined with reference photos and videos. I work primarily with watercolor, gouache, and subtle collage to add depth and hidden details. My practice is largely self-directed, driven by curiosity and the courage to follow my ideas. When something piques my interest, I pursue it without worrying whether it fits into my current approach. That openness has helped shape a visual language that people find both distinct and personal.
