Annette Cormier
I was born and raised in Caraquet, New Brunswick and in 1988, I left my beautiful little coastal town to move to Toronto.
As far as I can remember, the arts always fascinated me and when I left my native ‘’Acadie’’, I felt the urge to
explore my artistic side and follow
my dreams. Once in Toronto, I started my art journey by taking an
interior design course. Then life
brought me to Laval city, in Quebec,
where I completed this training.
This did not fulfill my needs, I wanted a way to express myself without barriers and without constraints. I studied university level courses in Fine Arts while also pursuing a variety of workshops , and I knew then, that I had found what I was looking for; my very own language to express my creative drive. Since then, I am always seeking new ways to improve and expand my knowledge and competences in art.
