Ana Vatres
Ana Vatres is a Canadian artist and Yugoslavian immigrant who has been working as an artist for almost thirty years. She earned her fine art degree from the University of Pristina in former-Yugoslavia and spends her time teaching fine art a range of students in both her home studios and local galleries while also providing for a child as a single mother. Her works draw upon her dual cultural experience, from Slavic Avant-Garde inspired abstract paintings to stylized Canadian landscape paintings.
