Alisa Krytsak
Alisa Krytsak is a Ukrainian-born fantasy painter based in Toronto. They work primarily with acrylics on canvas and coloured pencils on paper. Coming from a background in game development along with foundational studies in classical and decorative art, they build richly detailed figurative compositions. Inspired by Art Nouveau, Renaissance masters, and Ukrainian mythology, their work explores themes of nature, transformation.
With vibrant colours and flowing forms they picture their experience of life through neurodiverse lenses. Active since 2020 and based in Toronto since 2022, they exhibited in both Ukraine and Canada and are continuously developing a body of work that connects personal stories with the world around them.
