Alina has worked in comics and animation since 2009. She is inspired by instagram, fashion, animation, EDM festivals, surrealism, street art, and shiny things. She loves traveling in search of new visual inspiration. Her other interests include making music mixes, dancing and hula hooping/flow arts. She is working on making youtube vlogs of her crazy travels. She is interested in connecting people through art/music events and taking her art into the vj, 3d, and vr realms.
My arts may seem like a randomly lavish surreal mishmash of shapes and colours but the overarching theme is based in the symbolism of many small parts unified together to establish a cohesive whole- much like we as humanity are working, living, and playing together within an enclosed system set in a vacuum of emtpy space outside of itself. The resulting system is itself a beautful living dynamic organism- our creative expression within a chaotic reality that intertwines many different elements but always cycles back onto itself. Many works are inspired by and tailored towards EDM music festivals, which are themselves wild enclosed systems of organized chaotic fun, but many are equally inspired by the playgrounds I visited with my son.
