Description

A glass sculpture of abstracted pelvis, created through blown glass with sculpting techniques. A very personal piece, valued for the process of creation as the finished object. As someone who suffers from their monthly cycle it was great fun to stab, twist, and contort the glass repetitively, recreating the feeling of my uterus shredding itself, and causing such pain and discomfort. One component of my Body Language Series.
