I love to set up still life’s to draw from. This little grouping on my windowsill includes a mix of pieces that connect me to the people and places I cherish. They contain threads of my story. As I work, new narratives are imagined and intertwined offering comfort and a joyful reflection.
The dark blue linen ground is embroidered freely using a basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool, building up the textures, patterns and details.Mated within a 18”x 18” white wood frame ready to hang.
