This is a drawing of a family showing their powder smeared colourful palms at a Holi Festival in India.
Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival. It marks the beginning of spring and is also celebrated as thanksgiving for a good harvest. People celebrate the festival by smearing each other with paint and throwing coloured powder and dye.
