Blushing Peonies is an original painting, 30" x 30", oil on canvas. Deeply pigmented pink and magenta peonies underscored by rich green shapes sit in a glass pitcher. The ground is neutral with pink reflections. These large blooms offer a dramatic but soft take on a classic idea.
