This brooch is from the Optical Illusion Collection. Enameling on fine silver, I wanted to make 2-dimensional compositions that trick the audience's eyes into looking like 3 dimensional. Through this theme, I am trying to say that facts and reality are not always exposed to the audience on the initial viewing. In this collection, I used optical illusion to draw attention to the idea that we shouldn’t always accept what we see at first glance.
