This painting addresses themes of human connection. I positively reframe vulnerability with strength, transience with permanence and concealment with revelation. Adding the light source brought everything together. It was satisfying to symbolically bring humans from a distance closer by physically pasting them together. This painting has multiple layers and meanings. Painted with mixed media, this painting led me to collage paint skin figures.
