Description

This artwork was created on a piece of aged reclaimed wood, preserving as much of the wood's unique character as possible. The portrait was burned into the wood with a propane torch, before detailed highlights were carved back out with an angle grinder. "Watchful" was the artist's first portrait carved onto wood in this body of work, which has now become her signature style. This carving is enhanced by a handmade rustic frame also crafted from reclaimed wood (included with purchase)
