Description

This is a very watchful and fierce mask. She warns us to tread carefully in life. Paper mâché and canvas with acorns, beads, ribbon and a recycled wreath, finished with glazed hornet's nest paper mounted on a painted and framed 18" x 18" birchwood panel. The interior is fabric and has a clay figurine set in a glazed milkweed pod. A mask made for a particular ritual even though that ritual does not exist.
