Over the years I've received random items from my grandparents and my husbands grandparents as they've downsized or passed away. I love the way that when they sit together, what seems like a miss mash of items takes on a greater meaning of history and family connection. This painting reminds me of stopping at a garage sale to find tables full of random pieces from incomplete sets with chips and wear.
