This is a painting of an abstract character by Donald Lee. Donald invented the character through his unique drawing-writing process. The structure of the character served as the foundation upon which layers of colors were applied to create a rich composition. A color index recorded the sequence of colour application which loosely followed the stroke order of the writing.
