- Description
-
This painting was made during an art residency in Brazil, on environmental issues. The deforestation of the Amazon rainforest has accelerated in recent years and the homes of indigenous people have been severely affected.
The strips of canvase serve as a representation of barriers to stop humans from entering the forest and indigenous territories in order to perpetrate their destruction.
The fabric used is local and representative of the indigenous patterns.
