Fiber artist, jo-ann zorzi's, "new realities" was created during the pandemic as a way to express my thoughts and feelings. The mask has become a symbol of the pandemic, It has provided protection for the individual and the whole, but it has also caused huge divides - protection of at risk populations and society as a whole vs individual freedom. For many, it has also become an internal battle of despair vs hope, illness vs health, loneliness vs connection.....
