Elbert Laroc

I am a Haitian-Canadian award winning artist, I live in Ottawa. I am an artist with a full-time career as a self-taught painter. I have been painting professionally for more than 15 years. I now paint exclusively in oil. I have always had a passion for art, but anxieties of becoming a ‘starving artist’ led me to pursue an education in Graphic Design.

After graduating from College, it became clear that this career path could not sate my love of creating. So I am now working towards discovering my unique voice in the art world...and my natural artistic ability has not gone unnoticed.

​EDUCATION

​I had Worked with two experienced oil artists for over 12 years, Concentrations: Photography and Painting Initial Certification in Art Education.
