Arwynn is an established graphic designer pursuing her other true love – painting. Her work focuses on nature and moments of beauty, tranquility and peace, reacting to the strong need for these moments in life. In her work there is a moment where the absolute peace and calm is captured, whether it is fluff caught in the wind or a perfect sunrise.
Her current work is a collection of joyful, detailed paintings of simple motifs such as dandelion wishes, sweet birds and wildlife. These works were inspired by her son and each piece strives to capture the feelings of optimism, hope, whimsy and pure joy.
This uplifting collection is painted on birch wood panels using low viscosity acrylic paints. Each piece is built up with layers of colours to give depth and luminosity, then worked on final layers with fine details. When ready, she then finish the pieces are finished with a high gloss resin to saturate the colours.
