
Meet the Jurors

Ed Pien
Ed Pien is a Taiwanese-born Canadian artist with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western University and a Master of Fine Arts from York University. His artistic practice explores themes of time, sentience of nature, memory, representation of trauma, resilience, and compassion. Pien has exhibited work at major venues including the Drawing Center in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the National Gallery of Canada, as well as international biennials from Montreal to Havana. His art is included in both private and institutional collections and he is represented by galleries in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and The Hague.

Tiana Roebuck
Tiana Roebuck, Manager of Studio Programming & Learning at the Art Gallery of Ontario, is passionate about connecting people to the transformative power of artmaking. She holds a BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and an MFA in Fiber from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She fosters meaningful relationships between artists and communities through her work, including previous roles at The Theatre Centre and Luminato Festival. She was an Artist-in-Residence at Harbourfront Centre’s Craft Studio, has over 20 years of teaching experience across the GTA, and brings her background as an award winning TOAF exhibitor to her role as juror.

Callum Schuster
Callum Schuster, a graduate of OCADU’s Drawing and Painting program, investigates the perception of space and its psychological impact through work that bridges imaginary, 2D, and 3D environments. His art has been showcased at notable Toronto venues and the Havana Biennale, with installations featured at Nuit Blanche and WayHome Music and Arts Festival. Beyond his artistic practice, he is a founding member of the plumb artist-run space, serves on the Koffler Centre of the Arts Gallery Advisory Committee, and actively engages in traditional land management practices, herbalism, and winemaking.

Grace Zeppilli
Grace Zeppilli, founder of GZ Art Co., brings over 20 years of art consulting experience to her role, having fulfilled her high school dream of working in the art world. After studying both Business and Art History, she built a successful career in global luxury retail before returning to her passion for art. With extensive experience working with top luxury hospitality brands, Grace leads a team of art consultants while offering comprehensive art consulting services, from curating gallery shows to working with emerging artists.
